A Day at the Civil Hospital: A Heartfelt Encounter

Image
A Day at the Civil Hospital: A Heartfelt Encounter:- Today, I am going to share a wonderful experience that I had—a day that started with simple tasks but turned into something unexpectedly meaningful. It was one of those days that reminds you of the small yet impactful acts of kindness that can brighten anyone's journey. I set out early in the morning, hoping to get a true copy of my documents for my academic scholarship. My first stop was the village high school, but to my disappointment, the principal informed me, very kindly, that he no longer had the authority to provide the certification I needed. Undeterred, I decided to try my college next, but the response there was the same. Feeling frustrated, I reached out to my father, who suggested that I go to the Civil Hospital, where he believed I might find a Grade 1 officer to help with the verification. It was barely 7:30 in the morning, and I knew it would be a while before any officers arrived, but I was determined to accompli...

An Indian Bachelor’s Tale: Love, Loneliness, and Laddoos

Image
I never imagined I would write a poem on the topic of bachelorhood, but inspiration struck unexpectedly, leading me to create this piece. As a girl, I acknowledge that I don’t have the personal experience of a bachelor, nor do I foresee it in my future. However, I felt compelled to explore the emotions surrounding the pain of being a bachelor. My inspiration came from the beloved character Popatlal from the popular TV show "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah," who is desperately waiting for marriage but hasn’t found a partner despite his long wait. While my poem reflects genuine emotions, it is ultimately a product of my imagination. Here's the poem below. 👇  Bachelor's Pain It's too late, God!   Please find someone for me,   I know you're my well-wisher,   But can't you make it fast?   Please listen to me first, dear. I want to share my life with her,   I want to create memories with her.   I also want someone who is mine,...

Funny English Language: Quirks and Everyday Humor

Funny English Language: A Humorous Take on English:- I know it’s funny that I’m writing this blog in English while poking fun at it. English has always been an interesting language for me. I love speaking it and enjoy writing in it as well. It’s the global language connecting people across the world, making it one of the most common tools for communication. But here’s the twist – English is not as simple as it seems! One of the funniest things about English, especially in India, is how people perceive it. If you speak English fluently, you're often considered modern, intellectual, or even superior. It’s as though English is a magic language that suddenly transforms you into a "smart" person. But in reality, English is quite the borrower – it has stolen words from French, Latin, Greek, and several other languages. Sometimes I think, does it even have any original words left? Despite all its quirks, English has some of the most commonly used words that everyone knows, wheth...

A Tribute to My Favourite Teacher: The Inspiration Behind My Academic Success

Image
I had never thought of writing a poem about my favourite teacher, but one day I shared a poem titled *Memories of Pencil* with my professor. She liked it, appreciated my efforts, and encouraged me to keep writing. She then suggested I write something based on my personal experiences, and the very next morning, I made it happen. I posted this poem to her, and she replied, “Very nice thought. Keep on writing. We’ll sit one day to modify." I felt as if she trusted me blindly. This poem is dedicated to my favourite teacher, Mr. Ganesh Kanpati, who has been a part of my life since I was in 10th class. In 11th grade, I took Humanities, and he became my Economics teacher. While I initially didn’t like Economics, his teaching made me love the subject, and I ended up being one of the top 3 scorers in the class. Because of his complete trust in me, I became the 2nd highest ranking student in 12th grade. His unwavering support has been like a confidence booster for me. Before every exam, n...

True Happiness: A Heartfelt Hindi Poem on Life Beyond Material Wealth

Image
I never imagined myself writing a Hindi poem, but sometimes life brings unexpected moments of reflection. This particular poem emerged during a deeply emotional time—at my uncle’s funeral. He and my aunt lived together in a large house, blessed with everything material wealth can offer, yet they were not truly happy. They had no children, and despite their comfortable life, I could feel the grief my aunt carried. As I sat there, I couldn’t stop thinking about the real meaning of happiness. What is it that makes a person genuinely content? Is it the size of the house or the warmth of the relationships within it? These thoughts inspired me to pen down my feelings, which took shape in the form of this poem. It’s a reflection on how true joy often resides in the simplest moments, not in the luxuries we accumulate. I hope this poem resonates with you as much as the experience did with me. सच्ची खुशियाँ बड़े-बड़े घरों में खुशियाँ कम होती हैं, सुविधाओं की कोई कमी नहीं होती है, फिर भी यह...

The Pencil's Charm: A Poetic Reflection on Childhood Memories

Image
I can't pinpoint exactly when the idea for this poem began to take shape, but the theme has been constantly swirling in my mind, compelling me to write about it. And here I am, excited to share it with you! Writing this poem has brought me immense joy as it allows me to reminisce about the golden days of my childhood. While those memories may be a bit foggy, I cherish them deeply, often recalling stories from my parents and family. Those were truly wonderful days that I miss dearly. If God were to grant me a wish, I would ask without hesitation to relive my childhood once more. Memories of pencil  I know  You know,   All my wishes below.   Will You please do me a favour?   Take me back to that sweet flavour,   Of being a pencil once again,   With carefree days and little pain.   I want my eraser by my side,   Where no mistakes can ever hide.   I once wished to be a pen,   But now I see, t...

Mastering Exams: How to Overcome Pressure and Achieve Success

Image
Exams—an alphabet letters everyone must face at some point in their life. Whether it’s school, college, or competitive exams, no one can escape them. It’s a universal experience for all of us living on this earth. I have sat for many exams myself, and each time, I feel the same emotions: nervousness, a sense of losing control, even nightmares. My body trembles, as if there’s a strong vibration inside me. I almost lose my confidence, fearing the tough exam paper ahead. My mind races with thoughts about my rank in the class, my reputation in front of my teachers or professors, and, of course, what my friends will think. But the most dangerous fear comes from society and the community I belong to—facing their expectations is often scarier than the exam itself. If you belong to India, you will absolutely know the pressure a student faces from their surroundings. It's common to hear things like, "You are good; you must score at least a distinction (above 70%) to maintain your val...
