A Creaked Heart: A Heartfelt Poem About Love, Trust, and Heartbreak
A Creaked Heart
Hi!
Who are you?
Alex.
Ohhh! Yes, I know you.
Will you be my girlfriend?
Umm, okay.
I love you, dear.
Me too, come what may.
I'll always trust you,
We look like the sun and the rays,
I can spend my life with you,
Loving you through endless days.
I trust you before the God,
With every heartbeat, every nod.
I can see our old age together,
Hand in hand, through every weather.
Everything goes well,
And time passes fast.
One day she said:
"Hello, Alex, I’m marrying at last."
Why? I mean, how?
How could you do this now?
Don’t do this,
You know how much I miss
The love we shared, the dreams we made,
All the promises slowly fade.
"I know, but my family decided,"
With a voice so cold and divided.
Oh God, how could you do this?
It wasn’t my fault, just hit or miss?
How could I believe so much?
How could I trust her with such a touch?
My heart breaks,
My heart blasts like a volcano,
Spewing pain with every glow,
Burning memories I can’t let go.
Relations are too complicated,
Hearts get lost, and trust is faded.
Even when love feels true,
Promises die, and hearts turn blue.
