My Fantasy of Being Education Minister: A Vision for Change

Hello friends,

                         Today I will try to delve you into my fantasy 😇 . I  always  used think about to become an education minister from my school days. Everyone knows that what are the functions of Education minister.  Do you know why should I think about it? I feel lots of problems in my school  while I was there . 

                       Every school used to teach us most of the theoretical knowledge. Everyone from students , teacher , principal to parents gone mad for  scoring high percentage only instead of enhancing skills in the students because they only see the success rate of school so that the school get popular and attract more students. Attract more students means generating more revenue. Today school are not only for the education of students but  a profit making  business.

                     Every student knows that  we have to complete our home work  in which teacher give us exercise of the textbook. I know that it was very boring and hard for me because it hurts my hands. That time I think that if I were a education minister then I will take care of textbook exercise questions and I will make them only 6 for each chapter.  And also for the changes in the textbooks . So I think every class students will get  colourful textbook along with photos related to the topics to maintain students interest and attention while reading and studying in the class.Then I will focus on the teacher  who must be updated with the time and able to understand by the students. So that the students get right teacher.

                     Then I think about the policies . I will change every policy which doesn't favor students, I will make student centric policy. I will change the old curriculum or the syllabus . I will give my first priority for practical work and skill development. I' ll divide syllabus in 50-50 , first 50 for theoretical knowledge and second 50 for skill development and practical knowledge. So that students can earn from very early age.

                  I will start regular program of on job training for teachers so that they can do their best to teach.  I will allot more periods of sports for students to be  healthy. I  will make sure that government school will beat private school from studies to infrastructure. I will focus on digital learning and make students comfortable with them . My majority of focus on the overall development of the students. Today we know that majority of Graduates are unemployed because employers needs the skilled person but students only have theoretical degrees.

                   I will reform the higher education and make it useful to get employment easily. I will start  teaching skills and not only on the black board but in reality like communication skills , problem solving skills, critical thinking, empathy, leadership, team working ,etc ( soft skills ) and hard skills like computer knowledge , cooking skills , digital marketing, retailing products , handicrafts , etc so that the students get skilled. I will mandatory the online certification courses and master class that is webinar so that they can earn extra certificates  which will strong there resume.

                 So , these  are my own fantasy if I were a education minister. I know that if I really become that then I will reduce the unemployment rate because aspirants will have their own skills along with the degree. Hope you like this blog.
